I'm seriously obsessing over floral prints right now. So when I saw this look, I knew I had to recreate a plus version of it. This look is so fresh and springy, and perfect for everyday wear! I love to recreate street styles that I see, from all over the world, and how everyone has their own unique style. Copying is the highest form of flattery, right? So, go forth and copy this awesome spring look!

Plus Version....... BCBG Striped Dolman Top

So, on my way to work the other day, I passed BCBG. I saw this great top on a mannequin in the window. Of course I didn't go in to check it out because, HELLO, it would never fit me. Anyways, I went into Lane Bryant to pick up an order and saw a very similar top!! Since I was on my lunch break and I saw it as I was heading out the door, I didn't stop to really check it out. 

I was still thinking about it today and I decided to order it! Yes, I know, online shopping is my downfall. But anyways, the two tops are very, VERY similar. And, if you are like me, it's always nice to find a similar plus size option to the skinny, little designer versions.

When I get the top, I will post a review and pictures if it looks good!! :)

Lane Bryant VS BCBG by sarah-mj-kirst featuring tops

My new swimsuit!!

So, I have been dying to wear a bikini forever, not a tankini, a BIKINI. This year, I finally got the courage up to buy one. I wanted to look for one that had a skirted bottom, because I hate my thighs, and a high waist, because I think that is more flattering for a girl like me. And, I needed one that had underwire in the top, because these girls can't support themselves! So, after looking at every website imaginable, I finally found one that caught my eye and fit my criteria. It was from Torrid, and it was the bomb! They were having a great sale too. So anyways, I got this.....

It fits amazingly well! The sizing is definitely a little weird, so follow their specific swimwear size charts very carefully. For comparison, at Torrid, I wear a size 2. At Lane Bryant, I am an 18/20 and 42F. I got the top of the suit in a size 2 and the bottoms in a size 1. The bottoms run very large!! The top runs true to size. Here is a picture of me in it.....

Hopefully I buy at least one more suit this year :)
